In March of 2009, I contacted the Brevard County School Board interested in learning about mentoring opportunities. 
My encounter with what I will despondently refer to as the security team is outlined herein as a flash book or you can link to a PDF version.

You can read my open letter to  Dr. DiPatri, the Superintendent of Schools for Brevard County, as well as my cover letter to the entire School Board.
I have also provided links with their email if you wish to support or enjoin my condemnation. 

The insolence and bigotry I found in my public schools has prompted my sternly worded letter as well as a poem and at least, so far, one piece of art.

The job of the artist is to entertain. Our most intrinsic hope is that we might actually lead even but one person to think, and if we have, then we, the artists' have done our job. I do not think I could see a day in the near future we could get Andrea to do anything more but feel.

Andrea is a bully. I never heard of this woman before I met her. I never had any issues with the school district, and the fist person I spoke to on the phone, Laura, actually gave the entire process status for me. Until I got that phone call from Sara. Please read my letter to the school board. My perspective of this person's behavior is fresh and pointed.  If you agree with me, that at the very least, the district should be put on notice, so that if anyone brave enough to come forward from past present or future misdeeds by Miss Alford,  might find collaborative evidence in my condemnation of her attitude, her unprofessional demeanor and her bullying threats and tactics.
